Uruguay hormone-free purebred Black Angus beef tenderloin cubes are cut from one of the most tender parts of the cow, with delicate marbling, a juicy bite and a rich beef flavour that is not too heavy. The cattle are typically raised naturally on open pasture without growth hormones or antibiotics, and they are grain-fed for a long enough period to develop deeper flavour and a softer texture. The 120g pack is convenient for quick cooking, making it ideal for stir-fries, skewers, air-frying, braising or black pepper beef tenderloin rice for one or two people.
Recommended recipe: Black pepper garlic beef cubes (serves 1–2)
Ingredients:
-
1 pack Uruguay hormone-free purebred Black Angus beef tenderloin cubes (about 120g)
-
A little sea salt
-
A little black pepper
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 knob butter
-
Half an onion, diced (optional)
-
1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)
Method:
-
Thaw the beef cubes and pat them dry with paper towels, then season lightly with salt and black pepper for 5 minutes.
-
Heat a pan and add a little oil, then sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant.
-
Add the beef cubes and stir-fry quickly over high heat until the surface changes colour.
-
Add the butter and a little more black pepper, then stir-fry for another 30 seconds to 1 minute.
-
Add a small splash of soy sauce if desired, then serve with rice, mashed potatoes or pasta.
