US Angus Striploin Steak 250G|Full Beef Flavour, Great Everyday Steak
Product Description
This US Angus striploin steak features well-balanced marbling with rich beef flavour and just the right amount of fat.
The striploin comes from the loin section, giving a satisfying bite while still staying tender, perfect for those who enjoy strong beefy taste without feeling too heavy.
Each steak is about 250g, an ideal single-serve portion for a main course that pairs well with mashed potatoes, salad or pasta, making it easy to recreate a Western-style steak dinner at home.
Recommended Recipe: Pan-Seared US Angus Striploin Steak (Serves 1)
Ingredients:
US Angus striploin steak (250G) 1 piece, thawed and brought to room temperature
Sea salt to taste
Cracked black pepper to taste
Garlic 2–3 cloves (lightly crushed, optional)
Butter 10–15g
Olive oil a little
Method:
Thaw the steak completely, then leave at room temperature for about 20–30 minutes so the centre warms up slightly.
Pat the steak dry with kitchen paper, then season both sides evenly with sea salt and cracked black pepper.
Heat a little olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat until hot, then add the steak and sear for about 1.5–2 minutes per side until nicely browned.
Add butter and garlic, reduce to medium heat and baste the steak continuously with the melted butter.
Adjust total cooking time according to thickness and preferred doneness (about 4–6 minutes in total for medium-rare to medium), then remove the steak and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
Slice and serve, sprinkling a little extra salt if desired, and enjoy with mashed potatoes, salad or roasted vegetables.
