Recommended Recipe: Pan-Seared BLACK OPAL M7 Wagyu Chuck Rib

Ingredients:

BLACK OPAL M7 Wagyu chuck rib 1 piece , thawed and brought to room temperature
Sea salt to taste
Cracked black pepper to taste
Garlic 1–2 cloves (lightly crushed, optional)
Butter 5–10g
Olive oil a little

Method:

Thaw the Wagyu completely, then leave at room temperature for about 15–20 minutes to let the centre warm up slightly.
Pat the surface dry with kitchen paper and season both sides generously with sea salt and black pepper.
Heat a little olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat until it is hot and just starting to smoke, then place the steak in the pan.
Sear for about 1–1.5 minutes on each side until nicely browned, then add butter and garlic, basting the steak continuously with the melted butter.
Adjust total cooking time to your preferred doneness (about 3–4 minutes in total for medium-rare to medium), then remove from the pan and rest for 3–5 minutes.
Slice and serve, sprinkling a little extra salt if desired. Enjoy with mashed potatoes, salad or roasted vegetables for a rich yet balanced Wagyu steak meal.
