Ingredients 

  • 1 x USDA Prime striploin steak 220g

  • Sea salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • 10–15 g butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, lightly crushed

  • 1–2 sprigs fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)

Suggested Recipe - Pan‑Seared Prime Striploin (Serves 1)

  1. Bring steak to room temperature for 20–30 minutes, pat dry and season both sides with sea salt and black pepper.

  2. Heat a pan until very hot, add a little oil and sear the steak for 1.5–2 minutes per side.

  3. Add butter, garlic and herbs, then baste the steak with the melted butter for another 1–2 minutes to your preferred doneness.

  4. Rest for 5 minutes, slice against the grain and serve with the pan juices.
