Product Description
This French spring chicken is pre-marinated with herbs, garlic and spices, giving you crispy skin and juicy, tender meat with a fragrant herb-and-garlic aroma. The half-chicken portion is perfect for 1–2 people and is ideal served with potato wedges, salad or pasta for a simple Western-style meal. Just thaw and finish in an oven or air fryer, and you can enjoy restaurant-style roast chicken at home with almost no effort.

Ingredients
Half French herb & garlic marinated spring chicken, thawed
A little olive oil (optional)
A splash of lemon juice (optional, for serving)
Method (Oven):
- Thaw the chicken completely and pat dry with kitchen paper.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Brush a thin layer of olive oil over the skin if you prefer extra crispiness.
- Place the chicken on a baking tray or rack and roast at 200°C for about 20–25 minutes, covering loosely with foil if it browns too quickly.
- Check doneness by inserting a skewer into the thickest part; if the juices run clear, it is cooked. Drizzle with a little lemon juice before serving if desired.
Method (Air Fryer):
- After thawing and patting dry, preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
- Place the half chicken in the basket, optionally spraying lightly with oil.
- Air-fry at 180°C for about 15–18 minutes, flipping once halfway, until the skin is golden and crispy and the meat is fully cooked through.
- Let rest for a few minutes, then cut into pieces and serve with fries, salad or garlic bread.
